The colors turned out "fairly" good, and adding the black and white on top helped separate the underlying tones while adding depth. I really enjoyed the process of pulling the paint across the canvas with paint sticks, watching it flow organically.

To give you an idea of how it might look in real life, I framed the piece digitally with a black mat, which I think adds a sleek, stylish touch.

What do you think? Should I explore this style further and create a few more of these?

*Update: Okay... This is "my" art and I can change it anytime I want too! I walked by this painting fifty times in the last month and it bugged me. So, I started with a few "blotches" of yellow and it just wasn't enough. Not compared to my current paintings. Then... I went Ape-$hit!

When I went to Home Depot this morning (02/11/25) I got some silver and gold paint (quarts). So I threw it on there too. Anything to help warm it up, because it needed it and a whole lot more. "This" is finally the end result. It looks better in person now and not so "timid". Back then, I was afraid of adding to much color. Not anymore! The gold paint looks great!
