Lukas Berlin Water Mixable Oils, Baby!

Man, these paints are incredible! They’re perfect for a Van Gogh style. Cleanup is a breeze—just seconds per brush if you paint every day. They’re highly pigmented, smooth, easy to work with, blend beautifully, and the colors are true to what's shown on the tubes. Plus, they have great caps! I really love these oil paints.

I’m planning to crank out a lot more painting today. Here’s what I managed in this morning's quick thirty-minute session. I’m laying the groundwork for more layers on top. This section is tricky—lots of detailed lines and shapes. It’s going to need plenty of paint layered over the base. That’s why I “slapped” some paint on there this morning. It’s all about capturing those Van Gogh shapes and directional brushstrokes.
