2025 brought more highs than lows for me, and I hope it did the same for you. Better sleep transformed my days, boosting patience I rarely felt amid constant fatigue.
Sleep's Creative Boost
Restful nights since 2024 have reshaped my outlook, fueling patience for art and music pursuits. No longer drained, deeper focus emerges for watercolor strokes and guitar solos. Grateful energy now flows into abstract expressionism and original songs.
Flight Sim Reflections
Walking away from a second home and airport in Maple, North Carolina, was right, though missed chances linger. Skipping a real pilot's license feels wise after stories of young pilots' tragic losses. Home Reno Vision
A full 2026 overhaul awaits my nearly 30-year-old Williamsburg home, inside and out. Plans include new bathrooms, paint, kitchen cabinets, countertops, decking, sprinklers, roof, and furniture, guided by a contractor and decorator. Checks and chaos ahead, but a lifelong creative haven justifies it all.

I have the "itch" again to start applying lovely colors to canvas. I went to Home Depot this week and got the Behr 2026 color chart getting ready for a new painting season!
