Right... NOT!
I’m upgrading to a Mac Studio M4 Max with 128GB of unified RAM shared between the CPU and GPU. This beast will power X-Plane 12 in my sim-rig. MSFS? Done. Too many issues - time to switch to X-Plane!
I’ll be flying an Airbus A321 NEO, tail number N14533, delivered to United on 03/05/2025 - brand new!
Still debating my monitor setup. The new Mac can handle three displays effortlessly, so I might swap out my 65” LG TV for a different configuration. For now, I’ll stick with the LG and see how it goes. Also, I have a new full FCU system and MCDU from WinWing arriving soon - upgrading my rig is going to be fun.
April is packed - training 100+ volunteers daily, basically working full-time. But setting up my rig in my spare time will be a nice escape. Add in drumming, yard work, and Disc Golf, and I’d say my month is pretty well-rounded!
