I needed something to motivate me. So, I contacted "The MET" and had them make a Giclee of my Favorite Van Gogh. Even if I never get around to finishing my oil painting of this master piece at least I can hang a rendition of it at my front entry way for all to see as they enter. It has a flaw in the way they mounted it (an apparent wrinkle), but it is art and nothing is perfect. I may use this print to finish my oil painting, since this technique worked so well for me when I painted my triple Monet Water Lillies. Here it is!

Vincent Van Gogh, Cypress in a Wheat Field, July 1889

This print is slightly larger than the original, but this is the closest size that "The MET" had to offer for a giclee print on canvas. I may apply ultra clear, thick varnish on it to give it that real-oil-painting look.
